Yield Test:

 

The yield test shall be performed as part of the deliverables. It is essential to ensure the sustainable yield of the borehole accurately.

 

A 72 hour constant discharge test shall be performed. To fully comply with SANS 10299_4 (2003)

 

The objectives of the investigation are to assess:

The long term safe yield of the borehole and associated borehole operating rules The groundwater quality of the borehole.

 

The investigation shall be divided into 4 tasks.
